Unlike many consultants and agencies we understand that doing business in 2006 requires a dynamic approach to remuneration. One which is not only fair and transparent, but which also demonstrates from the out set the confidence we have in our ability to positively affect your business. Therefore the majority of our work is undertaken on a performance related basis. Typically there are three remuneration stages to each project.
An investigation fee covering the first one - two weeks. At this preparation stage we deliberately cap the fee to cover expenses and sundry costs irrespective of the time commitment on our part. Typically between £1,000 and £1,500.
Following the acceptance of a proposal we charge a small on-going fee per month during the implementation stage of our activity. Again we keep this artificially low at £1,000 per month.
The Sales Foundation proposition hangs on our ability to improve the sales performance of your business. Therefore the key to our own remuneration hangs on this performance related element. By which we levy a negotiated percentage of the increased revenue and/or cost savings directly attributable to the actions of Sales Foundation. On average these range between 3% to 10%. Naturally the performance related element varies for each client and on each project.
We have found this structure to be more than acceptable to clients and provides us with a way of building our own business. It is transparent and fair to both parties and avoids any issues with finance which can so often sour working relationships.
